Hello All,
I am back again, this time to show you what I have been playing with, hehe Sale-a-bration has ended and its only now that I have had a chance to have a play with the stamp sets, I have used the butterfly from Bliss (my favorite) and So Happy for You for the sentiments.
Ok back to what I have been making. Its a Chocolate and Card Gift Pack, I found the idea from Becky Roberts - Inkin Idaho. Becky made a Giant Nugget Box, which held three Hershy Chocolate Nuggets and Four 3 x 3 Note Cards in a cute little gift box. Below is the one I made form the turorial Becky has available on her website.

Well I thought that these were a great gift giving idea, however when I give cards, I like to include envelopes, so I re-designed one that would not only hold the 3 x 3 cards and but also some 3 1/2" envelopes that I had on hand. Below is Beckys version (left) and my version on the right which is now holding four Hershey Nuggets and matching envelopes for the 3 x 3" cards.

Well of course every now and then I like to outsmart myself and it wasnt until I went to create the slider cover for my version, I realised that no way could I use a A4 sheet of cardstock as it was too small to wrap around the now bigger box. To finish it off, I have used a 12 x 12" cardstock sheet, but I needed to go back to the drawing board so that I wasnt wasting so much cardstock. And I just love what I came up with, took me all day to get my measurements right, but well worth it.
Below is a comparison of the varous versions, Becky's left, mine (1st version) right and my final version is the below middle.

I am really happy with how my version turned out. I also wanted to utilise more Stampin' Up! products. I have been able to bring in the Stampin' Up! Sizzix BigShot Scallop Envelope Die, so I also get my note cards, and matching envelopes. While the Scallop Envelope Die does make a small envelope, it is just a perfect size for a card to give with a bunch of flowers or other small gifts such as Jewellery etc. Plus I get to make it from A4 sized Cardstock. Just a perfect card, envelope and Chocolate gift pack for gift giving.
The DSP I used is this one is the current Elegant Soriee.
Here is another version made using the current Love Letter DSP, love how this one turned out also.
I will soon be offering my version as a pre-cut kit - or even as a class by mail for you to create for your own gift giving. Ok I am off now to go and have a play with some other colors.
Kind Regards
Angela
