Busy time of year

Posted on December 8, 2012 at 7:05 PM Comments comments (0)

Howdy all

Waving to my new site members, Facebook likers and to those I meet in person at recent craft markets

Apologies first, Its nearing Christmas and is my busiessed time of the year, I have been a busy, busy, very busy bee and not had much time at all to get onto my website, I am also sorry if I have missed repling to any emails, I work full time, then hometo make kits, completing orders and also deal with the usual home life issues, there isnt much energy left except to fall into bed lol to then try and trail through all the scam/junk emails I receive and some genuine emails may get overlooked, if I have missed replying, please don’t hesitate to send me a friendly reminder.

Along with keeping those that have ordered kits online, inspired with their christmas projects, I have been trying to work on my own handmade goodies and gifts for upcoming craft fairs, I do have some goodies to show.

I have managed to work on a couple of new kits that I have added to my webstore. I finally had a play with creating a Punch Art Full body Santa. I used my Santa Punch Art Head design and then pieced together his body, added an embellishment tag and presented him on a Chocolate Block Slider Pocket.

I have my full body santa punch art available as a basic kit, the punch pieces included make two full body santa’s. I am also offering as a separate kit the pieces to make full body Punch Art Santa and also includes the pre-cut , scored cardstock to make a Chocoalte Block Slider Pocket Gift (using a 100g Cadbury Block), the instructions also include additional measurements for a couple of the more common various sized Chocolate Blocks ie Cadbury 200/220g, Cadbury 100g and 100g Lindt Milk Chocolate.

I have also listed in my webstore the Stocking Gift Card Holder die cut kits, one being a basic kit and the other including the Stocking Accent die cut pieces for added decoration.

My latest creation has been made using the Stampin’ Up Petite Purse Die, while my version and design is different, for the initial inspirationI would like to give credit to Debbie Henderson for her version of a reindeer treat box using the Petite Purse die. I have my own preference to punches and die cuts and the look I like to use in my designs, this is my version of Rudolph the Reindeer Petite Purse Gift Box and , I have added a tag using the Moden Label Punch and in this example have filled with Reindeer Spares (Malteasers & Jaffa) for Santa’s eight reindeer & Rudolph.

These were very popular at a recent craft market and after quite a few people asking, I have my version available as a pre-cut cardstock kit,  and will be available in my webstore shortly.

Ok, back to the grindstone, the Christmas rush will slow down shortly and I will be back

Circle Punch Art Owl - Skinny Treat Bag Otto the Christmas Owl

Posted on September 9, 2012 at 5:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Sorry it has been long time between posts, I had a huge post pre-typed and then managed to not save it. Genius that I am lol.

Now I am back to not knowing where to start, except to say that I have been flat out, time is again flying by and Christmas Kit orders are keeping me really busy, I really need a clone lol.

I am currently having a play with some new christmas projects and as much as I love the Stampin Up 2 Step Owl punch, I have made way too many lately and was looking for something different. I have been wanting to make a different punch art owl style, quite some time ago I saw on another blog a punch art owl made from a circle punch, made by Heather Summers – Love Owls and put this into the back of my mind for something I wanted to create.

Over the weekend, I have had a play session with some new punches from the newly released Stampin Up Holiday Catalogue. For my creation of the Circle Punch Art owl - which I have named him Otto the Owl, I have used the 1 ¾” Circle punch, the sizes could be varied just by altering the circle punches used and because I am working on Festive projects, I added a Santa Hat, Embellishment Tag and added onto a m&m filled Skinny Treat Bag – Introducing Otto the Christmas Owl.

I think Otto is just so cute, it could be just because I have made so many Owl Punch owls, but this little fella is def going to feature in my christmas projects.

I am working on the tutorial and will have Otto the Christmas Skinny Treat Owl available as kit shortly.

Ollie the Owl Shaped Post it Note holder

Posted on May 2, 2012 at 6:05 AM Comments comments (3)

Here is something I have created previously, but not yet shown to my blog viewers. This cute little guy or girl (by the bow) was inspired by my Ollie the Owl Punch Art Card and has been made into a Spiral Bound Post It Note Holder.

These make a novel and unique one of a kind gift or keep it all for yourself. Ollie’s body shape makes the outer cover, with the spiral binding at the top flips open to reveil the Post in Note Pad inside.

The cover is cut from sturdy Chipboard, with Ollie’s body being made using various pre-cut cardstock, die cuts and punch pieces to create the design.

I have these available now for sale (made to order) and are currently working on a plan to offer as a make it yourself Cardstock kit. Due to the spiral binding needing to be punched after partual assembly - the make it yourself kit will come partly assembled - including:

• The pre-cut Chipboard cover edges will be pre-painted, The front and back cover pieces will be adhered to the Chipboard and the front die cut piece adhered and the Spiral Binding pre-punched and attached.

All you will need to do is create Ollie’s body by layering the various pre-punched pieces included in the kit and adhere the Post It Note Pad to the inside back. You can add further embelishments as you wish, to give your own Ollie the Post It Note Owl it’s own added character.

Due to the Spiral Binding, any made to order or in kit form will need to be posted as a flat rate Parcel and not as a letter, as most of my kits are. If you purchase mutiple items with this order, you will only pay the one parcel postage price – why not make the most of the postage cost.

Message me if you would like to purchase you very own Pre-Made Ollie the Owl Post It Note Holder and I will also keep you updated on the kit availiability.

Hi All,

These cute little Buster the Bunny Punch Art Carrot Pouch is a perfect Easter Treat holder, all you need to do is add your choice of treat. maybe alter the colors and these would also make cute Baby Shower favours or even gift packaging for the new arrival.

Finished measurements aprox:11cm (high) x 21cm (wide). Will hold a treat / gift in the pouch of aprox 4mx 3cm x 6cm.

I have these available as a pre-cut Cardstock Kit, with a colored pictured step-by-step tutorial, the kit will make two Buster the Bunny Punch Art Carrot Pouches. I have added these to my webstore for purchase.

Introducing Poh the Panda Punch Art Kit

Posted on December 28, 2011 at 5:10 PM Comments comments (1)

 Hello All,

I hope we all had a very Merry Christmas, I have been flat out with Christmas items and had heaps to show, but I quite often will make something and then give it away before getting a happy snap of it and after this Christmas rush, I had enough trouble getting the goodies made - was I the only one that Christmas snuck up on this year?

Anyway, I have moved on to some other unfinished projects. I would like to introduce Poh the Panda Punch Art Kit.

i Actually made this little fella quite a few months ago at a weekend retreat and since I have been so focused on Christmas Kits, he got put to the side. I thought it was time to show him off, here I have added him to a spiral bound sticky note pad, my partner is always pinching my sticky notes from my desk, so this will be his own.

I have added Poh the Panda Pundh Art Kit into my webstore which you can find here.

Ok, I am off to finish off a couple more unfinished projects, before I start on something new.

Getting in early here, Happy New Year to All.

Angela

Pillow Box Punch Art Gift Boxes

Posted on October 16, 2011 at 3:25 AM Comments comments (2)

Hello All,

While it has been a little while between blog posts, I have been busy behind the scenes - mostly trying to finish off the tutorials and kits I have had on the go, while keeping up with orders, madly trying to prepare for upcoming Craft Markets and Fairs (which are coming way too soon) and I should add working full time into the mix as well.

Today I have had a play with the Sizzix Pillow Box Die, together with some of my Punch Art Designs.

Firstly, I have been playing with my Oswald the Owl Punch Art design - made in a different Cardstock Color, these ones were made using the new 2011 Stampin Up Incolor - Wisteria Wonder.

Oswald the Owl Punch Art Kit and or a PDF Tutorial are available for Purchase in my Webstore, for the pre-cut Kit you can choose any of the current Stampin Up Cardstock colors that you would like - just let me know during the check out process. I will hopefully have more of these to show in various colors - as I prepare stock for the craft fairs.

The second Pillow Box Project - I have made using my Santa and Rudolph Punch Art Designs, using a Pillow Box Bag - pillow box die cut with the handle being a Top Note Die Cut and also embellished with the new Stampin Up Ribbon Punch. These make great gift packaging for the Festive Season, and with the handle, you can even hang them on the Christmas Tree.

I already have the tutorials completed for all the components - I will put them all together and have a Pre-cut Kit available for purchase shortly.

Ok, back to it, I am off to try out my Santa Sleigh Nugget Gift Box and put the finishing touches to the tutorial, its taken forever, but it is now not too far away. And I will be back showing some more of my craft fair goodies.

Happy Creating, Regards Angela

Santa Sleigh and Stocking Nugget Gift Box and Gift Card Holder

Posted on September 24, 2011 at 3:35 AM Comments comments (2)

 Hello all,

Just another quick post to let you know that I have finished the tutorial and added the Candy Wrapper Santa and Rudolph Pre-cut Kit and PDF Tutorial into my webstore.

Here is a free standing Santa Sleigh Nugget Treat Box, I have been playing with off and on for a while now and was all set to get the tutorial and kit worked out this weekend.

However I have also been itching to play with the new Stampin Up Stocking Die and the Stocking Accents die and thought I could incorporate the same concept (Nugget Treat Box) into the Stocking Die Cut, so I just had to stop everything and create the free standing Stocking Nugget Gift Box, the Stocking Accent Die cut pieces pull up to reveal a card for writing a Christmas Greeting.

The Stocking Die also makes a quick and easy gift card holder, here is one I have been playing with also, in pulled out view. These are going to be very handy for the Festive Season - I remember I made similar Stockings last year, however had to had cut these, with the die cuts - these are going to be great to work with.

I am just finalising the tutorial for the Stocking Nugget Gift Box and Card and the Stocking Gift Card Holder and will have this and a pre-cut kit available shortly.

Ok, have to go and be social, happy crafting everyone.

Candy Wrapper Santa and Rudolph Punch Art Gift Treat Box

Posted on September 11, 2011 at 3:40 AM Comments comments (1)

Hello all

Wow what a busy weekend and past few weeks I have had, and all I want to do is just play (create). Hopefully I can start to get more of the ideas and unfinished projects I have on the go completed. But every now and then and idea pops into my head and I cant complete anything else until I get it out and these Candy Wrapper boxes were one of those.

If you had seen one of my previous posts on my Santa and Rudolph Skinny Treat bag Punch Art designs, I wanted to do something similar to what I did with the Skinny Treat Bag Bunnies at Easter and made up a kit with the Skinny Treat bag bunnies and Candy Wrapper Bunnies, so an idea formed to come up with a Candy Wrapper Santa and Rudolph.

And here is my finished design. How cute would these look on your Christmas Table - as place settings or as always small treat or gift packaging.

These have been made with Stampin Up Cardstock, punches and dies. My next task is to put the step-by-step tutorial together and I will have these available shortly in kit form or a PDF tutorial, that can be emailed world wide.

Here is a sequence of the versions I made until I was happy with the design, the ones up the back were my first basic piece together and I am not going to show you the mess on my floor with all the punch pieces lol.

Ok - here is another Candy Wrapper Christmas kit I am working on, using the new Stampin Up DSP - Letters to Santa, Candy Wrapper Die and Owl Punch.

Happy creating

Hello all,

I have finally finished the tutorial and kit another of my unfinished projects, here is my Punch Art Owl Movie Ticket / Money Slider Card. Here is a view of the inside, sorry I havent embelished the inside of this example. Example showing movie money or cash slider.

I have this now availalbe as a pre-cut kit with step-by-step pictured tutorial (postage available within Australia only) or a PDF emailed tutorial (available to be emailed worldwide). Measurements include both Metric and Imperial measurements.

Yearly Card Organiser

Posted on June 7, 2011 at 12:31 AM Comments comments (0)

Hello All,

Here is another project I have been working on. Its a Yearly Card Organiser. I have this available as a pre-printed Cardstock/DSP Kit with Tutorial or available as a PDF, the tutorial only with all the required printable templates.

The Yearly Card Organiser is a great way to keep track of and be super organised for any upcoming birthdays or special occasions. Each month has that months printed dates and includes a pocket for to hold any pre-prepared cards. So you should never have the excuse of missing any upcoming birthdays again, just check which cards you need to pre-pare for the particular month and have them sitting inside that particular months pocket waiting for the time to come.

Why not make one for yourself and they also make fantastic gifts.

In kit - (available to be posted Australia Wide) You will receive all the required cardstock and DSP to complete, some further cutting will be required. Note: Stamped images and other embellishments are not included.  The completed Example is for display purposes only.

Additional Items you will need to complete and not included in kit: Double Sided Adhesive Tape or Tombo Liquid Glue, Paper Trimmer with Cutting and Scoring Blade, Bone Folder. Stamps, punches, ink and embellishments to decorate and embellishments - as you wish. Other: you will either need a 1 ¼” binding comb and a use bind-it-all or take your finished project to a OfficeWorks or printers and have them bind your Yearly Card Organiser for you. Remember if you take it somewhere to be bound, make sure they realise that it will have cards added, so needs at least a 1 ¼” binding comb, to give it room to grow.

Or purchase the PDF Tutorial and Templates, detailing all the Cardstock, DSP, Punches and additonal items needed to complete, includes the templates used for the printed wording.

Cuteness Alert - Ozzie the Owl Punch Art

Posted on April 17, 2011 at 1:40 AM Comments comments (1)

Hello All, I am back quickly to show you another new Punch Art Owl I have created and he is so so soooo cute.

In between trying to get some last minute Easter orders completed, work on some new projects, I just had to have a play with my punches and get this little fella out of my head. I am very happy with the finished cute result. Introducing Ozzie the Owl (thanks goes to Jackie for the name suggestion).

Ozzie has been made by using the same concept as my Ollie the Owl card design that I showed yesterday, but he is in miniture (and again all made with Stampin' Up! Punches). Ozzie is very tiny, he fits perfectly into the Stampin' Up! Scallop Envelope Die cut, and makes the perfect note or gift tag that I am sure anyone who likes owls, will love to receive. Below is an example of the size difference between Ozzie and Ollie the Owls Cards.

Ok, I better stop playing and get back to work,  I have Ollie the Owl Card tutorial and kit completed, but I allso need to finish off the three unfinished tutorials I have on the go, I will be back shortly to show you my next tutorial/kit featuring Ozzie the Owl.

Kind Regards Angela
